Android: Persistent “Getting Share Data” Banner


The “Getting Share Data” banner sometimes remains on screen even after data synchronization is completed. In these instances, the banner text disappears but its background stays visible, causing visual confusion.


Actual Behavior



  • The banner does not disappear after sync completion
  • Only the banner background remains
  • The text is missing, making the interface unclear


Expected Behavior
  • Once the sync process is finished, the “Getting Share Data” banner should automatically disappear from the interface.


Affected Environment 
  • Android 15
  • RushFiles Android Client v5.3.0 and v5.3.1


 Current Status 
  • This bug has been acknowledged, being worked on, and is scheduled for a fix in Android v5.4.0.


 Work Around
  • There is no immediate workaround, but the issue is visual only. Navigation and file access are still functional despite the banner remaining on screen.
